coastal carpet hatchling?

megalon Mar 20, 2006 08:20 AM

does anyone still breed plain old, beautiful coastals anymore?i've been to 2 different shows in the past month, seeking a baby coastal,to no avail.the shows were on the smaller side, but a person could find all the balls, retics, and jungle carpets they wanted.there were even 6 or 7 jags, but not a single coastal.does anyone know where to find pure coastal babies,no intergrades?i couldn't pass up an offer for my adult pair last week, and now i feel naked with no morelia in the house.

The only place I have seen Coastals...well pretty much coastal, is UrbanChondro...They produced Jag siblings, and there are a few others who have also done Jags...Normal Jags are supposed to be produced from Pure Coastals, I think UrbanChondro produced JagxJags...and also produced normal Jag siblings, which are supposed to be just coastals...You might check our thier sight. The problem is people are breeding just about anything to jags, Bredli, Jungles, Green Trees, Diamonds, so Siblings from those will be Coastal crosses, but from what I gather, Normal Jag is a Coastal Carpet genetic trait, so the siblings to the jags should be Normal coastals..Good luck, Did you see the Red Coastals posted below...WOW...I wish I lived in Austrailia..

Next year I should have some very nice above average coastals. It's just taking a while to get them ready to breed.

Have you tried Anthony Caponetto Reptiles http://www.acreptiles.com

He has some really nice morphs, but also breeds some beautiful red-phased pure coastals. I'm from Australia so unfortunately I can't import any, if the laws were ever changed this is the first place I would go for some good looking coastals.

Cheers,
Peter.
