They hung around and fed up until mid to late Jan. Then I noticed that wood rats had moved back into their borrows. The snakes must of roused them.
I don't know if I pestered them into leaving, as I started to water the area, as it was deadly bone dry(we have since recieved some rain and is only bone dry)
Or they left on their own accord. Consider, I found them and started feeding them, when they were on the move. Not at a place they were known to be. So I get the feeling, they stayed there temporarily. Until they were sufficently fed up.
If you remember, I had pics of at least one of those snakes over the past five years. He appeared here and there is some sort of pattern for years. Including the area they stayed at for a few months.
Of course I will keep my eyes open for them. But please consider, they are not of prime interest and I was only taking advantage of an oppertunity they presented me with. I have other more important reptiles to keep track of. Cheers
