at what size/age do most milks........

start gaining girth instead of length. maybe its just me i dont know, but ive noticed that milks tend to put alot of energy into length at first then girth. so at what length or age do they atart to gain girth?

Depends on your setup and temp ranges. If they are to cool they put on girth pretty young if to hot later in life if at all. If you are in the ideal though I would say about 18-30 months. About the same time they are being bred. I think that may be because of owners feeding heavy to get them to breeding weight. Outside of the breeder mindset it takes another year or so. So at about 3-4 years. In other words there are a lot of factors.
