post-mating behavior?

Dave A. Jul 28, 2003 05:12 PM

I recently caught my 2 cresteds mating, and I was overjoyed.
Before the mating, they slept seperate in different parts of their enclosure. Now they sleep together all the time. The female has moved to sleeping where the male sleeps and he sleeps right along side her.

Im just wondering if this is typical behavior if anyone else has noticed it. I dont recall ever reading about this anywhere but I could be mistaken.

As far as what i have seen yah it is normal. My males always cuddle up with the females while they are gravid, they must know some how .
