just when i thought things were getting better, lucia has a red spot on her stomach where her belly button is. i know that is not a good sign.
i am going to try to go to the vet a couple hours from here that is an exotics vet but what are all the things that the red spot can be.
i have been giving injections in her side, just in a flap of skin, could that cause her to bleed there, i doubt it but wishful thinking

I do think it looks like some sort of internal bleeding. Wish I knew what to tell you , except have her looked at asap.

*** And stop those injections until you talk to a Vet.

Sure hope she will be okay

i only inject her once a day and i certainly won't do it tomorrow, in fact i wasn't supposed to do it tomorrow. i had to do it every 24 hours the first three times and 48 hours the other two shots. i don't think i have stuck her that deep, i pull her skin tight away from her body. i will know starting at 6 pm tomorrow, hopefully it is some kind of fluke, i am giving her baytril

ok i found some old post from last year, some lady's lizard had something similar to this and this guy wrote this, it was a hot topic. i looked up what he said and those things on her side are turning into blisters. the cage was damp because i scrubbed it to no end, but i clean the poop out everyday or every other day. how ironic would it be that the open wound from her shot gave her this disease?

Hi, that was my son's lizard. Houston. I just happened to post a photo of him then found your post. Houston is doing fine, we were very concerned but he never showed any loss of activity. He's pretty much all cleared up. Sorry, but I couldn't find a vet to care for the lizard anywhere near me.

Please let me know what the vet says about your lizard.

I'll put Houston's belly from then here again for you.
