How could any snake be prettier. This one was found on the slopes of the Sierras 2 weeks ago. It will be going to a friend in south FL soon.

Nice specimen there Dick.

Pulchellus have some of the most interesting patterns I have ever seen in ringnecks. I love how their ventral colors continues up towards the dorsal, that is too cool and just makes them look all the better.

That's a beautifull snake! I see a lot of ringnecks here in sw MO but have never kept any. Are they hard to keep? What do you feed yours?

Howdy folks,

My kids just caught a ringneck. We live in the Sierra foothills. I would like to know as much as possible about these snakes. Do they bite easily...how should you handle them...best foods...special care...etc????

Thank you for any help. You can email me at jerkyg@hotmail.com.
