A friend of mine has a pair of Durango Kings that are supposed to be proven. He probed them once and thinks they might both be male. Does anyone know abut how deep a male should probe, as well as female? Thanks.
James

It would be 1-3 scales = female.
3 scales = male.
Maybe someone else a little more certain will answer.

The paper that came with it says:
In females: one or two subcaudal scales
In males: would be ATLEAST to the ninth subcaudal
Thats from a set of probes purchased from Tongs.com
