heat tape help

thesuccubiniche Mar 20, 2006 10:22 PM

I was wondering where the best prices were for 6 watt 3inch heat tape. Also, I built a nice size rack which holds 56 shoebox hatchling tubs. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to have one strip of heat tape throughout the whole thing. It would be about 45 feet in length. I do have a thermostat that can handle the wattage. Just wondering if its a bad idea or if it would work just fine.

Thanks,
Phillip Hemingway
