New cage rack

gila91 Mar 20, 2006 11:48 PM

Here's a new cage rack I built for some of my snakes. I am planning to build another for my beaded lizards soon. The boxes are Sterilite (don't recall the model number) with dimensions 44 inches x 20 inches x 6.5 inches. I'm afraid my handiwork can't compare to Dr. Seward's, but I'm still pretty happy with it.

The first shot shows the whole rack, and the second shows one of the boxes with it's hinged lid open. That's a nearly six foot long cave dwelling ratsnake (Elaphe taeniura ridleyi) in the box for size comparison.

I don't know that I will necessarily be able to keep an adult beaded in these boxes for life, but at a minimum it will buy me some time until I get some larger cages set up. Let me know what you think.

Well the picture posting didn't turn out like I had hoped, but you get the idea. How do you post more then one picture in your message?

To post pictures you should check out the little blue link just under the messege you are writing called... Tools and Toys.

As for the basic picture posting method this is what you do-

Thanks, I wish I could edit my posts to clean them up, but now I know better for next time.

Nice work on the rack. How about some pics of your beaded lizards?

I need to take some updated pictures, but just to test out my new skills at adding multiple pictures to a post, here's a few old ones you may have seen before.

This is an 05 animal from Steve Angeli.

These are of one of my 03 animals from Bob Applegate
