racks for cresteds

jimhellwig19 Mar 21, 2006 01:35 AM

i am conidering putting a rack together for my cresteds and i just have a couple questions:

1. i know melamine is okay for ball pythons, but with the higher humidity required for cresteds, will their be any problems with chemicals leaching into the mist and water condensation? will warping become a problem?

2. since cresteds aren't as strong as bps, is there any reason to opt for the very tight fitting racks with no lids on the tubs over just a shelf format? (since this could prevent the problems i addressed in th first question)

3. what size and type of tubs do you all recommend for babies, juveniles, etc....?

thanks in advance. ed
