Last night I put Chunk in Hope's cage to see their reaction (was NEVER going to let them actually hook up) I was just curious to see how they behaved. Chunk was not interested an rather nervous. But Hope slithered right up to him and lined up next to him. Is this normal for a female? I have heard males do this to mount the female but haven't heard of a female getting ready. Just want to state one more time that I was never going to breed them and they were supervised the whole 2 minutes they were together. I was just curious to see the "courtship".

sounds like hope may be a male. I don't think females will do that, although they will raise there tails to allow for the males to mate them.

Or could have just been sssssssssaying hello.

No really though, i have a few females that will go strait to a male when introducing for a hookup.

Some sit and wait
some run
some compleatly refuse
some absolutly cant get enough
but most give in,in the end.

HHHHHHmmmmmm does that sound familiar. lol

I know what else sounds familiar. The fact that the male is always ready no matter what, when ever possible and as much as possible!!
