Cool picture. Whats the temperament of your diamond caiman? Their site says that diamond caiman are bred to be pets, but I have heard that they are not as friendly as advertised. Has anyone else kept diamond caiman and what do they think of them? I considered a diamond caiman once, then almost bought a Cuvier's dwarf caiman. In the end I decided to stick with Nile monitors and iguanas. I see you decided to go the opposite route and get the caiman instead of the monitor. What made you decide on the caiman?

so far so good, shes does not attempt to bite unless cornered, even then she will just try to get away, i hold her but dont really give her a chance to snap at me yet. SOOOOO much more docile than the nile monitor i owned..

I got one last year. Mine was Snappy right out of the box she was shipped in. In fact thats why I named her Snappy. She is still a real trouble maker compared to my palp. Even though I followed the feeding instructions from diamond reptile she is still really nervouse all the time. I move her from the tub about 3 times a week to do maintenence and she is still not used to me. These diamonds are good looking but mine is very aggressive. Just an example of how someone should never buy a croc under the assumption that its going to stay tame.
