I've heard of a waxy stool prior to birthing, but have never seen one, as I have always used aspen for expecting moms. This time, however, I am using newspaper...

A couple of days ago she let go of a small urate and these small things (I never would have noticed them buried in aspen):

Warning - Images are MUCH smaller than they appear :

It doesn't look like wax or have the consitancy of wax, but it doesn't look normal either.

I believe they are just hard urates. My female did this too. My guess is all the moisture goes into the babies and the urates are just dry.

moose-nugget jewelry...I wonder if there would be a market for Boa-nugget jewelry??? It aught to be worth more, at least if it were from my boa that lays the golden nuggets...

You mean like these:

But, the gold nuggets will be much nicer looking! That is so sweet of you to do that! Can I get 10% off the top, when you sell them, as a "finders fee"?
