I have located a trio of nice l ooking females, are there any others? Is Casey Lazik still working with these? I noticed his site is still up, but the phone is not working, is he around still?

Check with Don Hamper. I got my first anthill from him about a year ago (and she's a fantastic little snake). http://www.pythons.com/hamper/avail.html

Nice Anthill! LOL! Those are hard to find in the pet trade.

Casey no longer works with these guys. Neither does Don Hamper. In my experiance, male neonates are much more picky eaters then females. This may be why you occasionally see females offered but males are much harder to find. Unless you are patient enough to sit on the 0.3 trio for a while while you find a male, I would say locate a male first. What ever you do, make sure you buy garanteed feeders. Once they're feeding they are some of the coolest snakes around, but I have never seen babies as stuborn!

I would tend to agree with that. I picked up a couple of hatchlings from Matt Oz (I'm pretty sure he sold his breeding pair, too). He hadn't sexed them yet, but I'm pretty sure I got a male and a female. The female eats like a champ, but we've ben assist-feeding the male for months. He finally ate on his own last night, so I'm pretty happy about that. With any luck, I'll be breeding in a couple of years.

thanks guys, yeah I have read of the difficulty but am willing to put the effort in as I have dealt with stubborn feeders many times. They are very cool snakes and with luck I will get some nice ones in the near future. Keep in touch, I would like to link up with any and all who are workign with these guys.
