How tame are your Cresteds?

yellowconda12 Mar 21, 2006 09:34 PM

I am thinking of getting a Crested Gecko, we went to the locally owned pet store to look at them. Their Cresteds were fairly young and a little jumpy. My girlfriend told me she thought they could never be as tame as a leopard gecko, can some of you show pics of how tame your Cresteds can be, good opportunity to show cute pics of your little ones! Thank you

most cresteds will tame down as they age. If you get one young, just be careful with it, as they are relatively quick, and quite jumpy. Try to handle it for maybe five minutes a day or so and it will quickly realize you are no threat to it, and will start to calm down.
here are a few of mine

a little jumper
