it didn't seem like lots of people answered your question about underground reptiles reputation. and seems like a lot of heresay about bushmaster. i got a group of baby bushmaster gtp's from underground in 2003. little tiny things i wasn't sure could choke down a pinky. i did notice there was a feeding card on top of every cup with a snake in it. they all ate, they all thrived, they all came out looking like they were supposed to. i like buying from breeders, but because someone breeds snakes does not make what they sell automatically better, or make them a more honest business person. i think bushmaster, who by the way, is a breeder, does an awesome job. go to their website if you want to see a first class plus facility. just think, i can buy a green tree python at a reasonable price, thanks to them. underground is owned by rian gittman, who i can tell you, spends a good part of his day trouble shooting people's reptile problems, and answering any dumb question with more patience than i might have. he runs the cleanest shop i know of. now get real, lots of years in business dealing with live animals, lots and lots of sales to lots of people with all levels of reptile skills, is every outcome perfect? maybe not, but i think they try. and i don't think they would knowingly sell you a problem animal. hope this helps. kurt d.

Thank you. I did ask for personal experiences such as yours and a few others that posted. Bottom line I can gather is that most of the animals produced at thier farm are healthy and clean. but as with any thing stuff happens. Pictures of the breeding facility look modern and clean. My thought were that they would be fine to obtain some local specific stock for the basis of a new gene pool over what is currently in the country. Many of the breeders are quite fond of thier animals $$ .Rightly so as a very large amount of thier time & attention have gone into thier captives.
I am now in a position were I can put that effort into a project.

Also I am not really into the hybrids, albinos, het for this ,mutant can I make a catdog thing that seems so popular. Nature has a pretty good plan already so mabe a tweak here or there for clarity of a trait is all I want.
