Spring!

reptilicus81 Mar 22, 2006 05:42 PM

It is a bit slow on this side of the Boas forum! I am still in awe of my new Dumeril's so I have a few more pics of her to share.

I decided I am going to put her in a 4x2 boaphile type cage. No rack I found is suitable enough or cheap enough for me
Thanks!

I got her from Chicago Reptile House on Sunday (In Orland Park). She has a great personality along with her good looks, so I can't complain.

well, i just checked out that store's website. they dont list anything but the type of reptiles sold. no pics of anything available and no prices. also, they ship DHL which is a big no-no imo due to their track record.

I am a local, so I don't know much about shipping. They sponsor the NARBC each year as well, so that is a perk. They have a lot of stuff in stock, so it is best to give them a call to find out their current list.

the list is on the site. what im saying is that i dont send money until i see the snakes. i need to see pics of what im buying. i dont do the "ill send you a bunch of money and you pick one out to send me" routine. gotta see pics of the available animals.

I agree with you, I wouldn't buy any animal I hadn't seen first I don't believe you can order animals off of the Chicago Reptile House website. Occassionally, they place ads on kingsnake with pics (at least for balls). If you are interested in their stock I would call the store or e-mail Brian or Jeff. Like I said before, I am a local! 99% of my reptiles were purchased there! I am 25 now and I bought my iguana there ten years ago, and haven't stopped going since.

Thanks!

well if they state that they ship then it stands to reason that they sell from the site. why have a site if you arent going to sell from it?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop???? LOL, spanning back to the original post....Nice looking Dumerils! Since your local Amy, we might set up this year at Tinley, make sure you look for us. I'm just a couple hours South, so we'll be there for sure, just haven't decided on getting a table yet....have to wait and see what all turns out for us this season first! Take care

It is a great show! What are you currently breeding?

Thanks for the complement on my new Dumerils...hopefully we will be able to find a male for her!

Enjoy your weekend!

Well other than Dumerils, the common boas that we're working with are hypos, albinos, anerys, ghosts, all the hets and dh's that go along with those, leopards, arabesque, CA line motleys, CA line het T pos, and CA Line motley het T pos, etc. If we do the show, and things go well this season, we'll hopefully be bringing the following animals to the show.....75% CA motleys, CA line hypo motleys(25% CA/75% col.) CA line motleys het albino(also 25% CA/75% COL.), dh sunglows, hypos, sunglows, albinos, possibly either super motleys or dh ghost motleys....depends who did the job and if the litter is successful(fingers crossed!), 75% salmontines, pastel balls, het albinos, something along these lines. Talk to you later, take care!
