A blazing blizzard and a leucistic?? I know I am stupid... Sorry!!!! Anyone have a good morph link???
i would like to know the same thing because it sounded like someone earlier was saying my luecestic was not a luecestic. if my girl is not, i really want to know what deffines the two, lues and blizzards, too. this is my girl.

Originally the Murphy patternless was called a leucistic. It is still called that by some people, but shouldn't. The blizzards are probably true leucistics, but since the name blizzard works there is no reason to change it.
Now to tell the difference. The patternless hatches out with a strange spot-type pattern that slowly disappears, and they tend to be a dull yellow as adults. The blizzards hatch out white and stay that way (as babies their head has a grayish color because their skin is semi-transparent).
Well. there is one at the petstore, that looks young, no pattern, a little grayish for 70. They are calling it leucistic, but if it is a blizzard, I will get it!!! So, HELP please!! Also it was just last night caged with one that looks a little like TonyZ's. Can I just quarantine him for 60-90 days to watch him?? He looks about the size of a 3-4 month old.
Well that is about the going rate for them online. It is still a good deal since you don't need to worry about shipping and you can see the animal beforehand. If you really want it then get it, but don't buy it if it looks unhealthy in any way.
