Hey Gary she is massive. Also we use the same tubs that you are using in the pic. We use them with the lids though. Seems to be working pretty good.

This girl is an 01' 100% het Ghost female. She is 4 1/2 ft long and weighs 2958 grams. I bought her for a hundred dollars right before Ghost went back up in price. I also posted the 5 1/2 ft. 100% het Albino a couple weeks back she weighs about 2500 grams right now, but she just laid 9 eggs the other day or she would be more. Jon

I dont have her current weight. Her last recorded weight was a couple months ago close to 2600 grams.

First, I didn't notice until you said something. I give you five stars for being observant.

Secondly, I'm sitting here trying to figure out what kind it is, and I'm halfway convinced that it isn't a handgun. While it has a pistol grip, I can't see anything that I recognize as the outline of the bottom of a magazine. Secondly, the grip appears to be smooth plastic. While I'd guess that some guns have smooth plastic grips, most have some kind of textured grip to keep the gun from moving too much in the hand while firing. The triggerguard looks like the triggerguard on a handgun, and I think I see a hammer in the back. However, I won't be surprised if he posts tomorrow that this is a packing tape gun or some similar piece of office equipment.

Thirdly, I don't see that well, so maybe all of my previous observations are nonsense.

Fourthly, Colt Firearms makes a gun called the "Python." That would be an appropriate gun for the photo, but the Python is a revolver.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

Why get a Python when you can have an Anaconda?

I could afford to feed a python. I couldn't afford to feed an Anaconda. Otherwise, she's a beauty.

Lol I thought I would of had comments on the snake instead of the toy guns. No they are just soft air guns for tactical war games. Gives you a little sting when hit.

rcreptiles Mar 22, 2006 10:06 PM

We expect eggs from her next month. She's currently 3,600 grams. Enjoy.

Took this picture last year and think that it's
a pretty good contrast (big vs small).

Hope you're all having a good season so far.

Heres my Big girl and a good sized 05 Ghost.

BrandonBoeke Mar 23, 2006 01:30 AM

Great big girl, with my fireball in the middle. They have been breeding all season (she DOES have follicles), and this was one of the few times I have walked in and they weren't.......thought the picture was interesting, glad I can finally use it!! The fireball is about 700-750 grams, for those curious.

snakebstr Mar 23, 2006 06:01 AM

She is 3250 gram and laid eggs just 30 days ago, Believe it or not when she laid her eggs she was 2400 grams and that was 1 month ago, so in one month she has put back on 850 grams, In a month...Now that is a good feeder. Her eggs weight was 1180 grams. i don't think she is the largest but I am sure she has the great potential to be one of the biggest. Here are some photos

The ywllow belly male she is with is around 700-800 grams

ginebig Mar 23, 2006 06:59 AM

Nice eggs..... is that like sayin' "Nice Hooters?" . I'm sure this has come up before, but what do y'all use to mark the eggs with?

Nah, I think the equivalent would be "Nice Ovaries!"

I used to use a pencil to mark the eggs. But sometimes the numbers almost rubbed off with larger clutches after hatching snakes had crawled through all the oozing liquids and over the pencil marks. Now I use a ball point pen.

ginebig Mar 23, 2006 08:24 AM

I used pencil in the past also. Always rubbed off. Thanks.

Jaime77 Mar 23, 2006 08:37 AM

Wow! Those clutch sizes have got to be a record, too. Congrats!
