mealie substrate

sushi2 Jul 28, 2003 07:03 PM

I just decided to get some mealies for my leo's instead of buying crix 3 or 4 times a week. I saw a post last week about a substrate for mealies to gutload them, but didn't think to print it then because I thought I would be able to find it again. But as you can see, I can't seem to find it. The post I was looking for had something about baby food being added, and I don't remember what type of baby food, or any of the other food items. Could you please help me out with this?
Thanks in advance.

best that I have found to use is chick feed or chick starter. You can get it at farm supply or feed stores. It has all the nutrients that you could ever want to gutload with since it is designed for growing baby fowl hatchlings which really need alot to help keep them healthy for a week or so till they can cope with life.
