Hey all,
Hello out there
I'm new to this forum, but have had my male beardie for around 2 years now. He has always been more skittish than is typical for the species. Many times he puffs up with little provocation, occasionally opens his mouth in a threat posture, and generally shows way more attitude than most others I've been in contact with. I always hoped he would mellow out with age or more attention, but I'm begining to have my doubts. Perhaps this is just the way he is, and is always going to be. At the IRBA show this past weekend I spoke with a breader. She mentioned most all red morphs of beardies she expereinced had many of the same characteristics.
Do most folks out there with red color phazes of beardies agree?
Several years ago when I bought "Tang", not many owners had pet red morphs. I wonder if this is truely a fiery trait of these beatifull little guys.
Any thoughts/experiences on this, or with more red colored morphs in general?
He might be pissy, but damn he's beautifull!
I'll post a pic when I get back home tonight.
thanks, looking forward to some insight,
-jasonic
