Hey MAtt,

I thought it might get pulled. I think that if you offer a website, w/o anyone asking, it is looked at as advertising.

I got my P-worms from www.phoenixworms.com. They are the one's who actually brought them onto the feeder scene in August. They are offered from 3 or 4 other retailers, too. Check out their site for nutritional info- VERY high in calcium.

They are very easy to care for: they just remain in their container and if the substrate (it is their food) get dry a few light spritz of water is all that is needed.

A few notes: the largest are only about 1" and Darwin (beardie) is not very interested in them, Skippy (aquatic frog) ate one and never again, but Cyrus definitely likes them! So for smaller herps (maybe geckos, etc.) and baby chams I think they are a fine addition. The smallest are very tiny and probably great for hatchlings.

As for lifecycle, I had some make it into adult stage in his cage, but he would not eat them. They are wasp mimics and look very much like a small wasp. Diane's cham, Valentino, did eat the adults. You can speed them up, slow them down with temps just like any insect. The Shepard's website has info on this (I think).

Here's a thread where I posted some pics of adults...
