I JUST TRANSFERRED MY FROGS TO A 55 GALLON , BUT I HAVE NEW SUBSTRATE, I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT WHEN I FEED MY FROGS IF THEY WILL GET IMPACTED FROM IT. IT IS THE COCO FIBER THAT YOU ADD WATER TOO AND IT EXPANDS.I DIDNT GET ENOUGH MOSS TO COVERTHE BOTTOM, ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD HELP THANKS.

Coconut husk fiber works well and will easily pass through most amphibians. If you are keeping darts then don't worry about it at all. They use their tounge to quickly grab small insects rather than lunge at one walking by like many other frogs. Dart frogs rarely will get a mouthful of the substrate they are being kept on and when they occasionally do they are very good at getting it off of their tounge before they swollow it. Good luck,

I've had this in my auratus tank with no problem. They'll wipe their mouths out with their hands when they detect any foreign material, and the substrate doesn't tend to cling to the small insects we feed them.
