My first male ball python...

kathylove Mar 23, 2006 07:49 PM

I have been raising 24 '04 c.h. normal females for the past year or more, but this is my first male. He is an '05 pastel produced by Chris and Sheila at Gulfcoast Reptiles and he is just over 500 grams now.

Here is the cut and paste in case the photo doesn't show up.

I put the URL where it said to for the image, but nothing happened. Can somebody post it, or tell me what I did wrong?

toshamc Mar 23, 2006 07:54 PM

You might want to upload it to someplace where you have a better URL adress for some reason it's not working with Html

Nice snake tho!!!

FrontPage (on my site) uses those long names for pages, and it won't work here??

It used to work on KS, but I tried to post a photo recently on the corn forum and couldn't get it to work there either. Guess I won't post any more photos here if that is the case. Words are easier, lol!

toshamc Mar 23, 2006 08:35 PM

Where are you pulling your URL from? Are you pulling it directly from your page or are you pulling up the properties? Usually once you've uploaded the image onto your server it will have a normal url like http//your domain name /image file.jpg or something like that.

Somebody posted it for me, but not sure how.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

kathylove Mar 23, 2006 08:38 PM

d_oagles Mar 23, 2006 08:43 PM

I'm pretty sure I know why the pics won't work here. I had the same problem when I first built my web page with Frontpage. Your using spaces in your page and picture names. Frontpage hates spaces~ so it is replacing them with those s. Kingsnake hates the % symbol.....they don't play nice together. It will be a pain to change the names of everything on your site~ but if you set up a page on your site just for pics you want to post, and name it with no spaces....and name the pics with no spaces too (if you have to have spaces use an underscore _ ) then it *should* let you post them. Unless there are spaces in your root page name.

Kingsnake dislikes the combination frontpage replaces spaces with so much that it didn't post the symbols!! Lets see if I post them apart if it will show up

% 2 0
Frontpage is puting the percent sign, a two and a zero everywhere you have a space in your page or pic names. Kingsnake doesn't like it~ it apparently tries to replace that code with the spaces you actually wanted in the first place!

Don't listen to them Kathy...we're happy to have you.

...it's really just another form of evolution ehh?

btw..i'm glad somebody pointed you towards photo bucket already.I prefer it to most other host sites too(it's just easier).Sending someone a link to an album is alot easier than inserting pics into emails as well.
