Should I be worried??

notallthere Mar 23, 2006 07:59 PM

My two boys haven't eaten in almost 2 months.... Does anyone have any tips or ideas why? I'm still trying to figure everything out... They're currently in a 20 long tank and I'm looking to put them into a 55 gallon tank.... So if there is anyone on the Oregon Coast that's looking to get rid of one for a good price please feel free to respond to this also

Depending on their size/age they might be in to big of an enclosure... I have a 484g male pastel that was in a 1960 sterilite container, he had moderate feeding habbits but I moved him into a smaller tub and he pounds small rats like a mad man! Not sure this is the case but it might be something to think about. good luck.

I would be very worried if any ball downed a full bottle of Jack.

But no nothing to be worried about - but your post will most likely be deleted soon because you are not supposed to solicit snakes on the forum.

Well I've gotten them into a bigger tank and brought the heat back up in the tank..... But they still don't seem to have an appetite..... I'm just worried because it's been almost 3 months since the last feeding.... And since everyone was too busy commenting on the pic of my snake.... I just wanted to say thanks for the lack of help =(

My ball did not feed for over three months in the winter of 2003-2004. The next year he ate at the end of October and did not eat again until the first week of May. He/She has been fine since then.
