breeding update

fighterpilot Mar 23, 2006 09:24 PM

ive had the pair in the same cage for about 3 hours now and first the male was all over the female. They arenow on seporate sides of the cage curled up. every once and a while they will move around but they always end up on the seperate sides of the cage. i fed them last night would that have anything to do with it? I've been resaerchng this for 2 years but i guess the stuff i reaserched made it seem easier than it is. any info would be greatly appreciated

Don't leave them together overnight. One could try to eat the other and one or both could end up dying.
If you followed the books and hibernated them and they haven't bred yet it is probably because the female isn't ready.
Just keep feeding them separately and put them together every few days. Keep an eye on them when they are together and don't leave them unattended.
