Hello, I really love frogs. I used to catch them in my lake in Quebec all the time. Once I had caught a leopard frog (think that's what they are called) and reproduced it's habitat in a 20 gallon aquarium I used to have outside. I even had water insects, live plants, and tiny minnows in there! It had dry land too and plenty of spots to hide. Once Fall came around though I released it back into the lake so it could hibernate. I did a pretty good job at it, the frog was healthy and ate the bugs and worms I fed it greedily
Anyways to get to the point, I'm not a preteen kid catching frogs anymore and thought I should give a try at having some in my apartment.
What do you people suggest would be the best beginner frog and the lowest maintenence. I sometimes have to leave for a weekend or a little longer, which is what was mainly keeping me from getting some. I'm a student on a budget so I would also need a relatively small aquarium to start with (no worries though I will set aside a budget just for my little froggy) any help would be very welcome
