Has anyone heard the law in Texas that they are going to enforce which allows an Officer to walk into a bar and just arrest or ticket someone for being drunk. No test, no breathalizer nothing. Just the officer's judgement.

Don't most people go to a bar to drink? And now you can be ticketed or as I call it "Taxed" even more for drinking in an establishment that is meant for drinking?

Time to start waking up folks. Things are changing here in the US. Pretty soon it is going to be too much trouble to leave your house. Except for work of course. Because they will need to keep collecting that tax.

It wont be long before the hit you with a methane pullution tax for farting, they will make it a perminent tax for everyone because everyone FARTS so everyone is polluting. lol

There is no getting away from it TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX.

LOL-You guys in Texas don't know what taxes ARE! Try (attempting) to run a small business (Reptile shop) in New York state!

DWI - Drinking While Intoxicated.. what will they think up next??

Probably thinking nothing wrong with arresting someone for drinking in a bar but seriously... Think about it. You are in a private establishment, not ran by the city, state or feds.

You are paying this establishment for drinks and they are serving them to you. You are NOT DRIVING. However, if an officer see's fit to give you a ticket OR take you to jail for public intoxication they can. Again without an real proof, only their word. Not outside, not walking down the street, but inside the bar.

If you haven't seen the movie "V FOR VENDETTA" maybe you should.
Doesn't seem like we are too far from it. Not far at all.

Makes you wonder what our Fore Fathers would do if they could see us now.

This is my only holdback Alterna from 2005. I really don't need another blairs phase male, but as soon as he came out of the egg I knew I was going to keep him.

He ate thawed pinks right out of the egg and just switched over to hoppers this week.

I am going on 54 years old and have concluded one thing of the mighty US and A (my dad fought long and hard for it as did many other vets past and current) and it is the best place for the "common man" on earth. Well Western Europe rates right up there also, maybe even better since the "common man" has had to "kick ass" or "Chop Heads" on the elites and use the "guillotine" restore a balance occasionally.

My point however lost it may be, is that we live in a Nation that enforces its billions upon billions of Federal and State laws in a system just about as intelligent as the "Tali-ban" did,do whatever. They just label it under religous rights, we label it under crowd control!
