It was a 2500 mile round trip from here, but I picked up a few new frogs and lots of "stuff" to try out, as well as seeing the Exoterra tank set ups I've heard so much about.

Cammyleon--I'm glad you got those beautiful cobalts from Dave. Were you there when he demonstrated his method of sexing the young tinctorius frogs? When the shipping cups are tilted to one side and rolled a bit, the males apparently lift their heads, while the females will drop theirs. He said this was because they amplex when breeding. I didn't think they did this, at least their close relatives, the azureus don't, but that's beside the point. It was still an interesting phenomenon I'd never heard of before.

I was unable to recognize many people from the forums, as everyone seemed somewhat shy about their name tags, and there are a lot of Kevins, Ed's and Josh's etc. on the forums, but Marcos Osomo recognized me and I enjoyed talking with him about his conservation project, Tree Walkers International. I'll include a link here if anyone is interested in knowing more about what he is doing.
