I went to the other forum and read your post. Since you cannot usually tell a hatchling three-toed from a hatchling Gulf Coast, you have to go by the word of the breeder. Have him send pictures of the parents. Many people get the two confused-often any "large" three-toed is called a Gulf Coast if they get the turtles from coastal areas. Yes, the GC can have three toes. If you cannot get trustworthy confirmation, you'll have to wait till the turtles are older and show mature signs of Gulf Coast characteristics.
