You'd be surprised what people in there right mind would pay. Some people even pay 2k for eye dropping cb gila monsters or rio fuerte mexican beaded lizards. I'm sorry my friend but you have to pay to play. Your paying a premium for a collared lizard that cannot be readily collected from the wild and are not even found in this country. I breed these awesome animals and 9 times out of 10 I will never have to advertise them to the public for them to go to a good home. There are 5 people waiting in line for every 1 that says they'll never pay that price. It's ok though, collareds in general even fine cb specimens will sometimes be problamatic for even the advanced crotaphytus keeper. 600 a pair is a huge risk for some with no guarantees for 100 percent survival even under the best conditions.
