Those closeups were taken with the 60mm micro nikkor and an extension tube. I have a set of extension tubes made b Kenko. They are fantastic and only about $160 from B&H Photo for the set of three - definitely worth the money!

They can turn any lens into a macro lens. I personally do not think I lost any detail or sharpness using the extension tube. I believe I took those photos using the 36mm extension tube. The set comes with a 12mm, a 20mm and a 36mm. You can use them individually or any two combined or all three combined. They are extremely versatile!

I can't wait to get my new lens and Speedlight you recommended, they should be here by Monday. You and Ryan were talking about a diffuser that goes over the sppedlight on here a while back and I can't seem to find it in the archives. Any idea what the website is, I thought I saved it but I guess not. Thanks again for all your help. Brock

to the diffuser. It's called the Lightsphere and it's made by Gary Fong and I really like it! It's not really expensive although not cheap either for what it is. So you know his profit margin is probably pretty high LOL. But I think it's well worth the money!

They actually came out with a new one called The Lightsphere Cloud which is half clear material and half "clouded" material. I hate to buy another one because I don't really need two but I'm very curious how the new one compares. I might just get it anyways...

someone that is no longer in the buisness. Not to be short but he's unreachable at this point and he said he had another one or two that looked like her but for a month he wouldn't send me pix all along telling me "I SENT THEM, I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?" Then I heard he tried to post my snake for sale again but the guy who was supposed to buy it checked with me first and it was infact a pic of my girl. He was unreachable after that so I don't know if there ever was anymore that looked like her. She came from an anery X anery litter. I've never seen one like her.

about 3-31/2 ft and I didn't have a camera until she was about the size she was in the chair pic. The breeder told me she stuck out like a sore thumb when she was born. I can't wait to start the process of trying to duplicate her!

I really hope the girl in the first pic proves out to be het for sharp albino. She would make some beautiful sunglows. The female salmon below is 100% het sharp.
