Week In Review!!!!!

toshamc Mar 24, 2006 02:51 PM

Congrats to Brian and Chrissy – it is a happy day when your new ball starts eating!!! As always … looking beautiful.

Happy Day in the Crain household as Gary has acquired some stunning new animals this week – many congratulations on the new additions – have you stopped looking at them yet?!?! LOL

A thread with some nice spider shots …
Gary Crain

boobubba

joshhutto

morphed

Our “Honeybee” starter – don’t have her yet – we will be picking her up at the Anaheim show

A thread on overdue layers – yep she is a week late and still no eggs.
forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1035525,1035525

Cool Pet Store Finds …. Anyone else find this thread ironic?

The Thread From Hell this week arises from Kyles misfortune – we are sorry – hope that last one pulls though and give you something spectacular! They make it look so simple in the movies. forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1035962,1035962

Scale Rot – what is it and were does it come from. I’ll give you a hint – there are different kinds of scale rot and they come from different problems – and there are different ways to treat them.

Duct tape to catch a snake – if anyone has had the misfortune of having to peel a terrified, writhing snake off of a piece of tape or other sticky substance – you know that that falls under cruel and unusual punishment – bad idea – there are more humane ways to catch a snake.

Another discussion on the use of the term “proven” in ads. Maybe we should just drop this term altogether? Seems to cause quite a bit of confusion.

1. Proven to breed
2. Proven to produce viable clutches
3. Proven to produce morph
4. From a proven line of animals

Odds on a het to het pairing – someone should invent a magic punnet square – like a magic eight ball but instead it will tell you what you will be getting in your next clutch.

Can I breed a ball with kinks? If you have to ask – the answer is no. Are we really that desperate?

Who’s the Daddy?!?!?! This place is starting to sound more and more like a Jerry Springer show!

Another Big Ball thread …

No Substrate Incubation thread – various how to’s and pictorials forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=1038689,1038689

Parthenogenesis: reproduction by a female animal that has never been in contact with a male of her own species. Asexual reproduction in female animals of a sexually reproducing species. Sometimes occurs in certain reptile species.

Congrats to all that had clutches this week – either hatched or laid !!!!

Something to think about – Snakes don’t sweat

Something to make you go hmmmm --- seen how many adult female pastels there are up for sale in the past few weeks?

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
