I used to think...

bpconnection Mar 24, 2006 02:56 PM

albinos were not all that impressive. I'd say, "Who want's a yellow snake?"

Well...

Here's my new Male Bell Line Albino from Camlon Reptiles, and he's gorgeous! If I could have done it differently, I would have picked up a couple Ablinos to start off my collection! They're incredible!

So far, no one's seen your snake pictures. However, because I'm nosey and basically need to get a life, I fiddled around on your site and figured out what code you needed to post. I'm sorry to be intrusive, but I did want to see Mr. Abu. I agree that he's a very pretty snake. Both you and Jeremy have snakes that rise far above the "yellow snake" look that keeps me from being impressed with some albinos. If you keep that up, you'll get me hooked as well.

For these, this code

(img)http://www.ocballs.net/picture_library/Jan%207%202006/Apu.jpg(/img)

produces this image (except that you must substitute brackets for parentheses):

This code

(img)http://www.ocballs.net/images/pumpkin%20balls/images/008_apu.jpg(/img)

produces this image (again with the brackets change):

Again, I'm sorry if my snooping has offended you.

You have some neat snakes. Thanks for pointing us to them.

Bill

Hi Jeremy,
I personally love albinos and would like to know what morph would be most desireable if they all appeared on the market at once? Without counting any double recessives or anything, I would have to say albinos and pieds.

I think Pieds are what hooked so many of us on ball pythons...did for me...I do have to say that the pinstripe and the lessers are some of the greatest looking snakes I've seen in person. The absolutely most stunning was one of the Snake Keepers' Hypo Mojave. That was stunning! And I'm not really a mojo fan!

I still sorta think that way. I've seen many snakes on these pages that impress me a great deal. I love your albino, but he isn't just a "yellow snake." His yellow areas are dark enough to show some real contrast. I love his "alien heads." The ones that don't impress me as much are the ones that aren't as distinct. I wouldn't turn one down, but I'd be slower to pick up an albino than I would be another morph.

Thanks for sharing that picture,

Bill

I sometimes have that problem. I agree with Tosha's suggestions. I'd hit "Refresh" or "Reload" first on the whole page. She said to right-click and select "View Image." On my computer, the command is "Show Picture" and is the fifth command from the top of the box when I right-click on the "X" image. Before I had my computer fixed, I rarely got more than half the pictures in the WIR when I first loaded the page. I had to go through the whole page doing the "Show Picture" command to see everything. I'd recommend that you give it a try. I'm not a big albino fan, but this guy is really worth it.

Thanks, Bill....actually, the pic is even a little flash flooded. He's a lot sharper in person (as EVERYONE says here!). I love the thin, pale outline you see aroudn his yellow in person. When I picked him up from Debra, I fell in love with the albino.
