a queston about age and scoria update

craig k. Mar 24, 2006 04:07 PM

My male scoria is doing GREAT, I know you can't see him very well from the pic, but I wanted to show the best part LOL. He just turned 13 mos old, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a male breed this young?? BTW, the pic does not actually show him breeding, but rather courting, he was breeding earlier today. I would be surprised if anything comes of it, but shouldn't hurt to try. Craig Kade

BTW, I know it would not win the contest, but it is my favorite tail shot. Craig Kade

Thanks for the info, I am not really thinking this year, but I bet he turns out to be a stud next year. Craig

males last year, one a 10 month old 66% het Blood, the other a 12 month old Western Costa Rican BCI both produceing sperm. So I would assume they could have bred, although I do not know what the success would have been (both of their mates are the same age).
