Automated Misting Systems? use them?

If you use an automated misting system with nozzels and such..

I'd like to see what people are using.

After discussing this with a very reputable breeder who does not use misting systems she told me that one of her friends had used these system and had problems with her frogs developing sores on their bodies---she seemed to think it was from bacteria buildup in the pipes. So beforewarned if you use these systems to at least built them cleaning friendly.

Although I have never heard of that happening till now, I wouldn't say it can't happen. Other than building the system cleaning freindly which is always a plus. You might consider using black tubing to prevent algae growth within the plumbing. Also remember what goes in the water goes in the tank. As long as you keep everything up to par I don't feel you will have any problems.

Unless you have a vast collection a hand sprayer is often a lot easier than a complicated mist system.
