Breeder male no longer breeding

chrismorasky Mar 25, 2006 12:09 AM

I have an '04 mojave that has been awesome, produced by Eric Sandoval. He never missed a feeding, except when in shed, until 3 weeks ago. He has also bred 10 females this year, but stopped showing interest 3 weeks ago.

Do males sometimes just stop breeding for a while (maybe he's tired, LOL, he's been breeding since November, but always with 2-4 days off between females). My other males are still breeding.

I'm also wondering if he might be ill, since he stopped eating at the same time. I have no WCs, and he hasn't been with any new snakes this season.

What do you think?

My male is doing exactly the same thing, except hes still eating. I think hes bored of the same old females.
