Curious about these boas?

Red_Hydra Mar 25, 2006 01:17 AM

I have only seen a few posts regarding certain new boas and morphs and was hoping people here can direct me to more information on them or people who have these can explain more details on them.

The boas I am seeking information on are Aztecs, Jaguars, Mohawks, and the new Brasher Bloodred Sunglow.

1. Basically looking for history on these boas?
2. Years or time frame they took to develope?
3. Who is working with them and having successful breedings from these lines?
4. Wedsites with more information on them (links please)?

Thanks everyone.

I never heard of Jaguars or mohawks, but here's the URL to the Brasher Bloodreds. I really have to get one someday to put in my sunglow project, they are awesome!

Andrew and Bob Potts proved this mutation to be genetic. It is either Co-dominant or Dominant. A super is a possibility this year and should define if it is co-dom or dominant.

This mutation was started from a Colombian male. The male had been kept as a classroom pet for years before the brothers got a hold of him and bred him.

As the Aztecs age they intensify in RED. As babies they all carry the classic pattern (the pattern resembles some traits from the Arabesque and Motley mutations).

The Potts' have kept all the Aztecs except for one. Celia Chien bought one male last year.
The morph should be available for sale this year, but expect high prices. From the looks of things $15-30K!
