Nate I love the pvc stack. What size, and where did you purchase from? Did they come with the proper lighting included or do you have to put them in yourself? I've been looking around, and it seems a lot of companies do not put incandescent fixtures in there pvc cages. Just small halogen or small fluorescent fixtures mostly for snake setups it seems.
I'd love to start switching all my melamines over, but with a collection like I have it's going to cost me a small fortune. Maybe after this season I'll have the money to put back into my dragons for new pvc caging. I use big six footers, and I know pvc 6'ers are damn expensive..
dragons are looking good too. That cat looks to damn curious LOL.. When I first got into dragons, and still lived with my family, and cats I found one of them in my cricket bin, and crickets all over my room.. It's like the cat and 6,000 crickets traded places LOL... the cat must have sat on my rigged, duct taped up screen cover, and fell in... when he fell in the screen made a great way for the crickets to get out, and my cat to get stuck under LOL..

I got those cages used from another breeder TKO dragons. I am pretty sure He can still get them built. They are around 150 for the four footers. Ill ask about the six foot cages. And they came with ceramic light fixtures and florecent fixtures. And they hold the heat in very very well. On my class enclosures I have to use 100 wt or higher bulbs, in these I only use 40 wt bulbs.
The male I got from you is amazing! He is looking to be my most aggressive breeder. I was raising him with other dragons and had to give him his own cage because he was trying to mate already. Hes not quite big enough though. His colors are still amazing as well. Him and that female are night and day. He is a vivid neon orange and she is a florecent golden yellow. Its crazy how you can get such variety out of one clutch.
Im still on the market for more dragons and cant wait to see what youll have this season!
heres a few pics of him (shaka zulu)
hes not fired up in this one
Wow nate he's looking good. Still has those nice markings too. I got a few emails from people who have accidentally, and on purpose bred their young males from that Allakasam x Anna cross. I got one email from a customer who had just bought him from me at 5 months old, and was giving his dragons baths only to turn around to find the young male breeding his older much larger female LOL. So that cross definitely has some fast maturing males. I know the father Allaksam was young when he started breeding last season, but not THAT young..
I will have a few nice crosses this season. The first will be of age for sale around May some time. The first cross Sobek x Myah is a repeat to last season, but from a different cross then what you bought from, so unrelated. These gave me some of my highest colored orange/red dragons of last season. I also have that foster x candy holdback Gwen which i bred to buddy my white hypo pastel clear nail. I think I will get huge variety from this cross, and they'll also be het hypomelanistic which may possibly fit into a few of your projects we spoke about.
Thanks for the info on cages. Find out where Rob got them from. You actually got a really good deal on them
