Granite genetics

rearfang Mar 25, 2006 08:29 AM

I recently picked up an unrelated pair of baby Granite Balls. Someone said to me that this variation was not genetic. Before I waist lots of time raising these with the idea of breeding, is this a genetic trait or just an aberancy that will not pas on?

Some Granties are genetic (dominant) and some are not. Without pictures or background on the snakes it would be hard for someone to tell which category yours fall into. For more info on granites you can visit:

Thanks. great site there. easy for a "Ball" beginner like me.

These two came from two different dealers. One a breeder and the other a retail shop.
