WOO HOO she gave me the great gift of skin this morning. I actually didn’t notice it but my wife came in and said oh Shadow finally shed, I said what are you talking about no she didn’t, the wife kindly pointed out some skin, I lifted Shadow up and sure enough a nice full shed lay under her. WOOHOO again, So lets play name that skin LOL JK, Below is a picture of her shed.

resume feeding now. I commend you on paying such close attention to the actions of your boa, this will help you become the best keeper possible. It is sometimes these subtle signs that few recognize that keep us at our best in determining when things might be wrong.

Keep up the good work

Should I feed her imideatly or consider her missed feed yesterday just missed and feed her when feeding time comes around agan in about 7-9 more days? She is good weight so I dont asume the missed feeding would hurt her. Maybe just keep her on her toes to say the least, On another note I found out today for sure Spirit is a male and already knew Shadow was a female so this is great, Once they are of age I will be able to breed them, Its been hit and miss ever sence I got spirit about a year ago as I was unsure of his sex. Now I know so I can feel good the investment was not lost. I must say WOOHOO agan, Thanks for the help god knows I will be needing more LOL

You can feed now or wait, either way does not matter. In my opinion it is best to feed them similar to the way they eat in nature. My snakes are all fed without using any "schedule".

If it is easier for you to keep a schedule then use it, but understand that you may have to alter your schedule due to shedding, not wanting to eat, breeding season etc.

Good luck
Bob
