michigans in the neighborhood when you really look at it lol ...yes we have garrick and lucky for me I'm fortunate enough to know him. He has awesome animals and I love dealing with him (I dont do it often enough). I definately have to look at the new place this year .. I had a blast when I went to his old place he gave me the tour I was so excited.

LOL Yeah, maybe we'll find the time to check out Garrick's place, working on getting over to BHB for now, as soon as we have a break in the schedual. You're lucky to bo so close to Garrick, he's a great guy, I should see my new additions from him within the next week, stupid weather! LOL I'm dying over here waiting to open that box! LOL

yeah its about a 3 hour drive to garrick from milwaukee...not 100% how far his new place is from the old one though.. good luck with your package it will be worth the wait. Garrick tends to go above and beyond what's expected. I've only shipped from him once (two boxes worth) and the animals looked great. I primarily try to meet him at shows... once i get some tuition out of the way I plan on making more trips out there so I can go buy as much as I can. Being a student slows down the collection sometimes but once im out of school it will be worth it.

LOL Yeah, We're having our hunnymoon in Chicago so we can make the show LOL. Gotta love the shows, but the local ones are pretty small and not much there. Can't wait to go to a bigger show, and hopefully DAYTONA in a year or two! LOL
Yeah, seems my package from Garrick will take a couple days longer than it was supposed to. Oh well, I am DYING to open that box, but we have alot going on here right now, so it'll just give us time to get it all wrapped up before the boys get here.

lol nice ..yeah we have smaller shows here in wisconsin too... we had some at a local milwaukee hall...which was shut down years ago...we have about 1 pretty good one and 2 fair ones (same place twice a year)..thats about it lol...I wanted to go to chicago last year unfortunately I ran in to some personal problems and haven't really hit shows for a while..this year should be good to me and i'll at least get to look at chicago lol

LOL yeah. The only local sshow around here is the Taylor show, it's pretty dinky LOL. We went to the Columbus, OH show on the 11th and it's about 5x the sixe of the Talor show! LOL
People think we're crazy for planning our hunnymoon aroud a reptile expo, but we can't afford Daytona yet and it just so happens to be within the week afer our official wedding. (We kinda eloped, but our families and friends said they would kill us if we didn't have a real wedding for them to attend LOL)

what ever makes you happy lol ... i dont think ill be hitting daytona for a while but ill most likely be in chicago. As crazy as i am about morphs i've only seen a handful in person lol. So chicago is worth the trip for me...After all it's only a few hours away...and not on my honymoon lol

LOL Yeah, same here, and we're starting the breeding this fall, but I have only seen a small handful of the morphs up front, but boy is Kevin's (NERD) book full of pics!! I have been glued to that book since we got it! LOL
Well we planned on going and didn't even thing about the date because our wedding is in Sept. (30th), but then we realized and I have never been to Chicago, so hubby said he wanted to show me the sights and I want to make the show! LOL Worked out well, we'll have a week to cruise the windy city and end it with a bang!

I know, it is quite a hit to the wallet, but it's worth it! Just reading the Forward in the beginning was enough to make me want to keep the book around, but then again, I am kinda partial to Ralphie, he's got to be one of the funniest guys in the buisness! LOL

yeah ralph is funny as can be ... i had to choose math so i didn't waste $400 on that class lol then there was science and english that knocked the pockets down even more lol I have the money for the book theres just other things i need more right now. Look at us were having our own conversation on the forum lol

Yeah, I understand, we're newlyweds living on 1 income with well over 50 animals in this house to support LOL. If it weren't for taxes and the loan we took out we woulden't have the book either, but I knew I was going to get it at one point or another and while I was making an order to TBF, I fugured might as well.

I am actually in Waukesha and know that there are a few ball python enthusiasts in the Milwaukee/Madison area. Where exactly are you located and what animals are you working with right now?

im located in milwaukee and know alot of local guys as well as a few up north. I love hearing from the local's thats why i posted here lol ... im working with leopard geckos and ball pythons primarily...hopefully I'll get some crested geckos and maybe a few other species (chinese sharpei lol ). Next season should be my first ball breeding experience, I've been selective picking for the last few years building up stock... I'm working with a few unproven projects as well as het pieds (hopefully they prove out). Finally I am familliar with you Jay lol ..I'm just one of the unknowns who's working up the ladder.
