Breeding

I am new to monitors...But i don't have them yet....but i was wanting as much info as i can on breeding savannah monitors...Like the exacts...the tempetures and the way i need everything set up....If anyone can give me as much info as they can on Savannahs...and where i can find good breeder pairs..thanks

go to www.mampam.com and buy "the savannah monitor lizard-the truth about varanus exanthematicus" by Daniel Bennett and Ravi Thakoordyal. Its a great little book and very cheap too, it will answer all your questions.
As far as finding breeder pairs, thats next to impossible. The best way you can achieve success with breeding is to buy a small group of babies and raise them up together. They can reach sexual maturity within 12-18 mos.
