there are many different sub species and or forms within the "red tail" complex. many people call common colombian boas "red tails", are you speaking specifically about BCC or will a BCI do. scroll down this page and page 2 there are a couple posts with pics of what you want to see. but you can get a "boa constrictor" that stays small. this BCI male is at least 4 yrs old and is about 4 ft long. hope this helps you. john yocum
