Does any one have some different recipes for the Veggie Salad Recipes that i have head so much about ? They have several veggies and a fruit mixed together in small peices?

I don't really have a set recipe. I found the information on Tess Cook's website to be very clear and well researched, so I follow those guidlines, and the "salad" is a little different each time I make it.
One thing I don't do, if I'm making a larger batch, is add fruit to it. I found that the "salad" keeps a little longer if I add fruit seperately, as it gets served.
Another thing I do is to chop everything up so that noone can pick their way out of a fairly balanced meal.

How can you have a veggie salad if you use turtle meat in it? Its almost like saying a veggie chicken salad.

"veggie" can mean more than vegetarian...in fact its frequently used as an abbreviation for the word vegetable.

there are a lot of different reptiles that get Veggie salads .. but use the same basic ingredients and then can be added to dependant on their needs or if they are sick or not having an appitite
i have been finding this out since we have also 4 days ago gotten an iguana and it eats like a little piggy and is shedding for the first time
