what are good toads/frogs to house together. What other animal can also be housed with frogs/toads

Best rule of thumb is to not mix species. Both frogs and toads have toxins, when you mix the two you end up with sick or dying amphibians. Not to mention that both are easily stressed and the presence of another species in one enclosure can and will cause high levels of stress and more than likely, kill your animals. Then you add that some grow to different sizes and they could very well try to each one another.

So basically, none of them can be housed together.

From my experience the only type of frogs you can house together are toads from the same habitat. Like Americans and Fowler toads can be housed together because there temps are exactly the same and they are almost the same toad except they look different and the fowlers are smaller. I actually kept a gulf coast with an american and they did great together. But t does not mean I was right for doing so. Gulf Coasts need atleast 10 degrees warmer then what americans need. so toads are only spoecies you can mix together; toads with toads, That is IF you do decide to mix them that is
