Another stupid question

hevychevy427 Mar 26, 2006 01:23 PM

I posted how I have the cage set up and no one said it was wrong, so I want to ask why does my dragon take spells and try to run up the wall like he is trying to get out? What do I need to do to make him want to stay in there? What is he afraid of? Or why does he want out?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Nancy

Provide areas for basking that support him well and areas of cover. If he is new he may need time to adjust.

over the years I have has some dragons that are crazier than other and try to get out as you describe. What I have done to combat this annoying problem is either put them in different cages or block all their cage windows with cardboard or paper so they cant see out and want to get out to explore. dragons can be very curious, and if they see out of their cage they often wont stop trying to get out. I dont like putting dragons in glass tanks. I build my own wood cages. A lot of breeders use big plastic tubs.
