Well when you have forty something snakes, several bearded dragons, four or five turtles a tortoise, five dogs and eight cats you begin to run out of names. That and the best reason of all, I think it's a pretty cool name.
And you also have to think about animals that have come and gone. Don't really like to reuse names, especially with all of my photos.
It could get confusing to have several different animals with the same names.
