When can I expect eggs?????

Colorfulcorns Mar 26, 2006 05:22 PM

My Blizzard had her post-hiber shed on Mar 1st and she mated with my Snow on Mar 22nd.
I've read Kathy Love's book(my bible)and she says I can expect them in 3-5 weeks, Is that right? I just want to make sure of the round about time I can expect eggs.
Last year I had a big surprise when my newly acquired snake laid eggs so I don't want any surprises this year.
Just so you all know my Blizzard is eating like crazy.....

After successfully breeding, corn snakes typically have a pre-egg laying shed 10 days before dropping eggs. If she hasn't had the pre-egg laying shed yet, then you still have a couple weeks or more of waiting.

I hate it when I reply, and forget to take the N/P off the subject line!
