Does anyone breed ball pythons anymore?

jasonmc Mar 27, 2006 03:16 AM

Man, I was looking through some of the websites on kingsnake looking for different people who breed the beautiful black headed pythons. It seems that almost every other page is selling some sort of ball python!
Are their still that many people buying balls, and at the same price as buying a nice car?

Ok black headed pythons $2000.00 each. This makes sense, you dont see that many of them. But everyone seems to have balls (no pun intended) and those prices are crazy!!!

I don't get it!

Post more BHP pics. Cant wait to see all your hatchlings.

yeah, I've noticed that "captive bred pythons" often really means "captive bred 'BALL' pythons". Seems to kinda lengthen the search for diverse breeders. An accurate description of what one breeds could make quite a difference in matching up the right clientele w/ the right breeder.
